One morning, Priya was playing in her garden when she noticed a tiny egg on a green leaf. The egg was very small, tinier than a drop of water. She watched it carefully every single day. After a few days, a small caterpillar came out of the egg. The caterpillar was green with tiny legs. It ate the leaves around it and grew bigger and bigger. Then one day, it stopped eating. It slowly made a cocoon around its body and went very still inside. Priya waited patiently for many days, checking on it each morning. One bright and sunny day, the cocoon began to move. A beautiful butterfly came out! It had wings of bright yellow and orange. It stretched its wings slowly and flapped them gently in the morning sun. Then it flew up into the blue sky. Priya watched it with wide eyes and clapped her hands with joy. She had seen something truly magical.
